Cookies Policy

Last updated July 24, 2026

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to measure which pages help visitors and whether ads I run bring the right people here. This page explains what loads and why. If you don't want to be measured, every modern browser lets you block or clear cookies and local storage for this domain.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small piece of text a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between page loads. Local storage does the same thing with a slightly different mechanism. This site uses both, described honestly below.

Essential storage

The site uses first-party local storage to make the intake form and basic site preferences work correctly. Nothing here is shared with anyone.

Analytics and advertising

Google Tag Manager. The site loads Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-P32TG5M6). GTM is a tag management system that lets me load and manage analytics and advertising tools in one place. GTM itself does not store cookies, but it triggers the tools below.

Google Analytics 4. GTM loads GA4 (measurement ID G-GB2CTWVD4S) to count page views, referral sources, and general device information. IP addresses are anonymized. I use it to see which articles are actually helping people and which are not.

Meta Pixel. GTM loads the Meta pixel (ID 626437071624612) so I can measure whether ads I run on Facebook or Instagram bring the right kind of visitor to the site. It records that a page was viewed and, if you fill out the intake form, that a lead event occurred.

These tools set their own cookies once they load. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings, or block them at the browser level.

What is not on this site

There is no session replay, no scroll or click recording, no LinkedIn Insight tag, no TikTok pixel, and no third-party retargeting beyond the Meta pixel managed through GTM. I do not sell or share information collected here.

Turning cookies off

Every modern browser lets you block or clear cookies and local storage. Browser-level controls, private browsing, or tracker-blocking extensions will stop GA4 and the Meta pixel from loading. If you block essential storage, the intake form may not submit correctly.

Changes

If I add or remove a tracking tool, I update this page first and update the Privacy Policy at the same time.
